Benefit for Historic Preservation

The first Saturday of August is Great Camp Sagamore’s annual Benefit for Historic Preservation. Ticket price is per person and includes the silent auction followed by a sumptuous dinner.   Entertainment is also a part of the festive evening.

About 200 guests accept the Board's invitation to attend this important fund raiser annually. Most recently, proceeds have helped re-roof the Chalet and Alfred’s Cottage and repair the foundation at the Playhouse. The Trustees are now beginning a campaign to build endowment for interpretation and preservation.

Business sponsorships for the benefit are available and include recognition on the invitation, in press releases, and on the program. Platinum, gold, and silver sponsorships are available.  Please contact us for sponsorship.

The 2012 Benefit Party Schedule includes:

5pm	Sinatra - the Summer Arts Festival singers & champagne
5:45 - 7pm	Silent Auction in the dining hall
7:15pm	Dinner under the tent catered by Lily and the Rose of Saratoga
8:15pm	Remarks followed by dancing to the Blue Vipers dance band & auction check out

2012's Benefit Raffle:  This year is a chance to win a Krugerrand, 1 oz. pure gold (.999 fine) Krugerrand from South Africa,  (value = bullion melt).   Winning ticket will be drawn on August 4th, 2012 at our Benefit Dinner.   Winner need not be present to win; click here to purchase a raffle ticket.
