Mountain Music & Dance Retreat

October 5-8, 2012

A three-day musical extravaganza over Columbus Day weekend.                           

Instructors:  Trish Miller, John Kirk, Dan Duggan, Peggy Lynn, Dan Berggren, Dick & Carmen Gilman, & Steve Warner.

There are not enough descriptive words for the amount of musical inspiration you will experience while you are learning during this 3-day weekend. Sing, write your own songs, clog, fiddle, play guitar, dulcimer, mandolin, or penny whistle. Go to a performance, a square dance and a “talent” night. Sign up for courses on an instruction grid that allows you to focus on one instrument or to develop skills on several.  Faculty recommends this course for beginners, including children, for those who are trying to pick up an instrument again, or for those who are polishing their talents.
