Great Camp Sagamore was proudly designated a National Historic Landmark in the year 2000. Now, all three William West Durant great camps at Raquette Lake—Sagamore, Uncas, and Pine Knot (Huntington)—hold this honor.
Sagamore Institute of the Adirondacks, Inc. is dedicated to the stewardship of Great Camp Sagamore.
