Support
Great Camp Sagamore runs on revenue without local, state, or federal operating funding. Preservation support comes from members, donors, and from volunteers for the stewardship of these 27 National Historic Landmark buildings. Please consider coming to a work weekend to lend a hand to our loyal volunteers.
Please refer to Resources for costs, maps, FAQs, the Community Forum (that’s you!), press photos, gift certificates, news, and more.
Donations to Sagamore can be made in several ways including attending our annual Benefit for Historic Preservation the first Saturday of August every year. Preservation support also comes from generous annual gifts of many sizes from members, donors, and from volunteers for the stewardship of these 27 National Historic Landmark buildings. Please consider coming to a work weekend to lend a hand to our loyal volunteers.
Interns are supported in their educational goals by working at Great Camp Sagamore for a season. Seminars are led every week for historic interpreters by Dr. Michael Wilson, Associate Director. Outdoor education majors put their skills to practical use during Grands Camps and hotel/restaurant majors serve the public daily. While gaining experience, interns also find new friends at Great Camp Sagamore.
